Wilec’s Electrical division supplies motor, generator and transformer manufacturers and repairers with enamelled and covered copper or aluminium conductor, Continuously Transposed Conductor/Cable (“CTC”), a comprehensive range of insulating materials, and complementary products. The rotating machine product range caters for low and high voltage motors up to 15kV, and generator components up to 600MVA. Similarly, the transformer product range caters for dry-type and oil-filled transformers up to 800MVA. CTC is mainly used in power transformers, to provide electrical insulation.
