ISOGLAS® F0710 and H0720 and H0730 should reach room temperature before opening the original packaging to prevent condensation of water on the tape.
Processing advice
When applying ISOGLAS® tape it is recommended to preheat the armature to about 110-130°C and apply a tension of about 1000 N/cm to the tape. This ensures that > 50% of the applied tension will remain in the bandage after curing and prevents a loosening of teh bandage after cooling down or in service.
After fixing the end of the tape (e.g. with a soldering iron) curing should be done according to listed curing conditions.
Detailed processing advice available on request.
Curing Conditions
To reach the optimim properties of F0710, H0720 and H0730 after application, following curing conditions is recommended.
Temperature in °C | Time in Hours |
---|---|
120 | 24 |
135 | 4 |
150 | 1.5 |
165 | 1 |
* The curing time refers to the time after reaching the curing temperature.
