Armatherm® API (Armoured Polyesterimide) Enamelled Copper Conductor with Glass Overcoat

Description

Armatherm API magnet wire is based on polyesterimide enamel with an amide-imide topcoat designed for excellent high temperature performance. It exhibits all of the basic properties required for winding and performance plus added thermal characteristics rendering it suitable for continuous service at 200°C and intermittent cycling up to 220°C. A glass overcoat provides additional mechanical strength coupled with an increased surface area for improved bonding between conductors after impregnation.
